I am on B2 visa status after a job layoff. I got a job offer, and my O1 visa application was approved via the new employer. The effective date of visa is 14'th April. If I join 7-14 days after the effective date, would that be a problem from the perspective of immigration status? The job requires relocation. Secondly, if I do not join the company at all (after informing them), would I be in B2 status or will my status be indeterminate? I asked because I have an upcoming job interview that are at my current location.
