Question

I was filling N400 application online and there is a question on the form "What is your name exactly as it appears on your Permanent Resident Card" with the check Box "The name on my Permanent Resident Card matches my current legal name". As I see on my green card, the front side (where the picture is) bears my surname and my Given Name. I have two parts for my given name - First name and Middle name. But, only the first letter of the the middle name is displayed along with first name on the front side of the Green card. However, at the back side, below the magnetic part, it bears my complete name(last, first and Middle name) separated by "<". So, My question is, can I mark the check box "The name on my Permanent Resident Card matches my current legal name" as it matches with the name on the back of my green card? (or) Should I NOT mark the check box and enter exactly as its shown on the front of my Green Card(middle initial)? How does this matter?
