Hi, I am holding a valid H1B visa till September 30th 2024 and currently living in US. My dependents also living along with me, they also have valid VISA till September 30th 2024 on their passports. As my current H1B is about to expire my employer applied for extension on 20th March 2024 in Normal process and is currently under review. This petition also contains amendment for project changes as well, filed amendment + extension together. Current situation is my dependents planning to travel to India on July 26th 2024 and return on September 1st 2024, during my amendment + extension of H1B is in progress did my dependents travel (they have valid visa till September 30th 2024, they will return to US on September 1st 2024 it self) ? I haven't applied for my dependents extension yet. Plan was we were hopping by this time my extension will get approved and my dependents will go to India and get it stamped through US consulate. As it is not approve yet, thinking to apply for their extension after returning from India that is September 1st 2024. Please help me with the travel related question, in this situation whether my dependents can travel out of US and return ?
