Hello, I am on H1B Visa and I own a house. I am planning to move to a different state and convert my current house into a rental property and hand it off to a property manager for management and maintenance. I wanted to understand any limitations behind owning a business/investment properties through LLC while being on H1B. What all steps do I need to take to make sure my H1B(I140 Approved) status stays in a legal stature while I try these new opportunities. Please share any information that could limit me from starting an LLC/Sole Proprietor as a business owner while being on H1B.
