Question

Hi, Me and my wife are currently on H1B and my wife’s H1B renewal is coming up in June 2021. Two weeks back she had a brain hemorrhage and currently she is in ICU in critical condition in an unresponsive state. Doctors aren’t sure how long her recovery would take and said she will be bedridden. I have recently downgraded from EB2 to EB3 during October visa bulletin and waiting for 485 approval and EAD, I also added my wife to my 485. Given the current situation what is the best options I have for my wife to keep her in legal status given that she cannot work for the foreseeable future. Are there any provisions in immigration that can help H1B holders in these kind of situations. Please help. Thank you, Ravi
