Question

Hi, I am a US H1-B visa holder (Indian Citizen) who has an approved I-140 petition. I got my first approved I140 in June 2010 with previous employer and it is still valid. My current employer filed new I140 and it was approved in August of this year. My current employer has declined to provide copy of new approved I140. According to them it is employer petition and they cannot provide original approval notice or copy thereof. I have following questions: 1. If I have to switch to new employer in coming months, can new employer file my H1B visa extension and new I140 based (my existing employer will not provide approved I140 copy) 2. What documents I will need to provide to new employer. 3. If there is any way I can obtain copy of my new approved I140 Thanks, Amrita
