I am the primary applicant for an F41 family-sponsored immigrant visa (Indian passport). On the CAEC portal, I added my wife and son as my dependents and we completed the IV application, fee payment, and civil document upload for all three. CAEC approved the civil documents and scheduled an interview at the Mumbai embassy for my wife and me. My son (current age 25, age at the time of petition filing was 4) is not a part of the dependent list for the interview and his DS-260 confirmation is not available on the CAEC website. I would like to know the following: 1. Is this expected and will CAEC schedule a separate interview for my son? What timeline should be expected for this? 2. Should my son accompany me to my appointment at the embassy and would he be allowed entry without a DS-260 confirmation? Note: My son can not schedule biometric appointment and medical test without DS-260 confirmation 3. If the answer to the above questions is no, what other options do I have for my son's application and how long would the process take?
