I have filed for an Family based AOS application in Nov 2021(its still under process). My wife is a Green card holder. We travelled out of the US in Dec 2023 for vising family but we hadnt realized that the advance parole expiration was on Nov 2023. I held back on making the trip back to the US when I realized the issue. What are my options of going back to US and how will the AOS application be affected? 1) Will the AOS application be deemed abandoned in my case for a spouse of GC holder? 2) Is applying for a visitor visa advisable? 3) Is AP mandatory to enter US? 4) How will this affect EAD(applied along with the GC)? Am I eligible to work? 5)Whats the best course of action?
