Question

I entered the US on an ESTA in early Jan, with the intention to return to the UK. However, last week my I-130 was approved. 9 months BTW. So, two options for next steps. 1. Stay in US and submit I-485 Adjustment of Status 2. Return to UK and submit DS-260 with US Consulate Leaning towards I-485 due to reduced separation and Covid travel risk. As an immediate relative, I understand this is an option, despite entering the US on an ESTA. However concerned about the 9-12 month wait time and potential issues with overstaying my ESTA. Any advice greatly appreciated.
