My employer is not aware of opt visa and hired me considering as a work permit. They don't support my stem opt extension and have concerns on violating any employer regulations by signing/ attesting on the I983 form. Company is a non profit organization and is E verified. We need your recommendation on how to resolve employer concerns and if needed would you be able to email our HR& legal team as legal advice on behalf of us mentioning that employer has no problems by signing the I 983 form.
