Question

I work for a company that was recently acquired, and as part of the acquisition, my position has been made redundant due to workforce reduction. My last working day will be March 14th, 2025. I have a pending I-485 application that has been in progress for over 90 days (less than 180 days), with both mine and spouse's EAD and AP approved and received combo card valid for 5 years. According to the March 2025 bulletin, my priority date is just 5 days away from being current. Given this situation, I would like to understand the following: * What will be the impact of my job loss on my Green Card process? * Will our EAD and AP remain valid after my current employment ends, and can my spouse and I still seek new employment using the EAD? * When my priority date becomes current, will my I-485 application continue to be processed and approved? * Will I require any documentation from my current employer in the near future to support the application process?
