Hi, I have an approved I-140 with my current company. Now, as my PD became current, AOS has been filed with I-140 Successor in Interest (because of corporate merger). I wanted to go for new I-140 in premium as I don't want to delay my AOS processing. But company lawyer's response is 'new I-140 petition doesn't impact AOS timeline'. I need your expert opinion here as I don't want AOS process to be stuck because of new I-140 filing. Thanks.
