I would like to know if any complications might arise if I travel outside the U.S. under the following scenario: My EB1C I-485 is pending, and I hold an EAD-AP combo card valid until April 2025. I used the EAD-AP to enter the U.S. lst year, but my employment status remained H-1B and the recent H1B extension there was a change of status with I-94 record number in the i-797A document after this re-entry. Since my current EAD will expire within 180 days, I am planning to apply for the EAD-AP combo card renewal next week. I am planning to travel outside the U.S. after applying for the combo card renewal and then re-enter the U.S. using my H-1B visa (after a consular visa appointment in India for my H-1B stamping) next month, could this cause any issues with my EAD-AP renewal application or my pending I-485 petition?
