If my job is terminated by my current employer, when my 485 is pending for less than 180 days (140 approved), will I be able to transfer my H1B to new employer (or) will I be facing any issue because of 1 year rule ? 1 year rule: If the priority date is current for more than 1 year and 485 is not filed, USCIS may not approve H1B extensions is what i heard and read. This seems to be a grey area and USCIS may not necessarily approve or deny every time. Please note that my priority date is in Oct 2011 from my previous employer and my priority date became current with July 2021 bulletin
