Question

Hi, I work as Quality Improvement Registered Nurse in non profit organization that works with Santa Clara County. My employer is ready to file an H1B for me but unfortunately, position does not mention the degree requirement as Bachelors minimum. My employer is not able to change the job description. Can they still apply H1B showing other license (RN), certification, work experience needed for the position as specialized? I have BSN RN and Masters in healthcare. Based on the USCIS memo below, looks like other skills and requirement could replace degree! https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Laws/Memoranda/2015-0218_EIR_Nursing_PM_Effective.pdf My Job position REQUIREMENTS – Required (R) Desired (D) Active California RN license without restriction. (R) Minimum two years of experience as an RN in managed care quality, or direct patient care. (R) Clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify gaps in care and apply appropriate clinical judgment to PQI cases. (R) Ability to analyze data. (R) HEDIS experience. (D) Experience with the Continuous Quality Improvement or Plan Do Study Act methodology (D)
