Hello. This is a follow up to my earlier question below: You said its possible she may not get a fresh I-94. Other than that could there be any other consequences? and What if she enters mid June which is after the current I-94 expiry. Thanks again. Previous Question: Hello, My mother visited me in the USA from India in the first week of Dec 2021. She is on B1/B2 visa. She left USA for Canada( by road) in the second week of March on Canadian Tourist Visa to visit my niece. She is planning to return back to the USA at the end of May/beginning of June 2022 from Canada again by road and then leave the US in the first week of August for India. Would her reentry within 2-3 months to the US cause any issue at the port of entry? She usually visits the US only once in 2 or 3 years. -Thank you Answer Posted: 9 hrs agoHello, Yes, it is possible that the CBP may question her and may not issue a new 6 month I-94. It is also possible that they do issue fresh 6 months. Difficult to say as ultimately it is at the discretion of the CBP officer. Good luck!
