Minor Daughter of a soon to be resident father
Hi, this is my situation:
I have 2 daughters. One is almost 21, married, will be US citizen by the end of the year.
Then she will file for my residency.
I'm currently living in the US with a H1b visa that will expire in 4 years.
My other daughter is 14, she has been living in the US for the past 3 years, and she has a dependent visa connected with mine.
I've been told that from the moment i'll obtain my residency, my daughter will have to move away from the States and wait 3 years to obtain her's.
She has no relatives that can take care of her (no mom in our family, my parents are just too old).
There is any legal loophole that would allow my younger to stay with me while i obtain the residency?
Thanks.
