My wife has appeared for H4 interview in Mumbai consulate on 12/12/2011- However USCIS have issued her 221G & with held her H4 Vissa
The 221G reads : " Correct exp date in PIMS" - USCIS have not asked for any documents
I understand PIMS stands for Petition information management system & is managed by USCIS
My dilema is I do not know how long it will this take to get my H4 Visa

Question _ MY wife has Valid B2 visa in her passport - Can she use this to travel back to US - I can then send back her passport for stamping to India - USCIS does not need her presence for this in India
After I get my Passport she can go to Vancouver & get fresh I94
Will it be Legally correct thing to do ? Will UCSIS approve this process ? How long they take to approve H4 such cases
