Q.

I485 no employer letter /employment based EB2 GC

Hi all,
I have a question on I485 filing. My PD is now current through my previous employer. However I currently work for another company.Researching online I found that I485 can be filed by self. However I could not find a definite answer if an employment offer letter from the I140 sponsoring employer is required to be submitted?I dont think it will be possible for me to get the employment letter from old employer.I read that there are many cases where I485 was approved without the employer offer letter being submitted and that AC21 could be file once it is pending for 6 months. If an employer letter is indeed required ,is it possible for me to provide one from the current company?
If not then what is alternative?

Any inputs would be very helpful.

Thanks for helping me on this..
