i was granted an asylum status 3 years ago. based on that i filed i-485 form for adjustment of status, and an i-131 form for advanced parole at the same time, as i was planing on leaving the US for a month. on the 08/23/11 my i-131 application is going to be out of the time frame. i did the biometrics two month ago. and i am supposed to leave the country in a week. is it possible for my husband to mail the AP letter after he receives it, or do i have to pick it up in person? (i live in NYC). i traveled 2 years ago with my travel document(which was valid for a year and has already expired),when returned to the US they put "indefinite" stamp on both i-94 and my travel document. what should i do? is it going to effect our i-485 appl-ns if i leave before getting the AP letter? please, help!
