H1B extension while I-140 is pending
Hello,
I'm an MD currently on my third year on the H1B status and my University is willing to extend 3 more years for me. I'm in the process of applying for an immigration status through EB1/NIW. My question is: If by the time of the H1B extension the I-140 is still pending, will it have any negative effect on extending the H1B? Will the USCIS consider rejecting the H1B extension just because I have an Immigration application in process?
