Petition spouse to U.S.
I have married a man born in India that has both Indian and Nepalese passports. He lost his Indian passport and is traveling with his Nepalese passport. According to him, in Nepal or in India, it is not lawful to have dual-citzenship of both countries. Although it is very common for people to carry both. Will this affect his chance to immigrate to the U.S.? We were married in Nepal and registered our marriage there. Will he have to denounce his Indian citizenship?
