I am on approved I-140 filed under EB3(PD Dec'2009, H1-B 7th yr exp Dec 2011) with T-Mobile, which is being bought out by ATT. The terms are that all the employees with T-Mobile will have to re-apply with ATT once the deal closes. Questions -
1) What happens to my status between deal closure and ATT offering me a job? (It could take weeks / months)
2) Does my I-140 get automatically withdrawn with T-Mobile dissolving & ATT doesn't offer me a job?
3) If I decide to move to company C in the mean time should I -
a)wait till I get 3 yr H1B renewal?
b)support/info company C need from T-Mobile for successful transition of my GC application?
c)Details of what company C need to (or I should ask them to) do to b4 I can join and keep my PD (reapply as EB2)
4)General Risks/safeguards.
