Have EAD and AP
Currently working on H1B visa for the same employer for 6 years

I am now moving to a new state (Illinois) and my current employer, who’s also my Green Card sponsor, is offering me an option to work remotely from home with the following conditions :
1. I will have to work on my EAD and not on H1B visa (Employer does not want to file a new prevailing wage application for a different state).
2. My internal employment status will change from ’01 Permanent’ to ’02 Temporary’. The change in status is for internal business process adherence only. I will be able to keep my regular employment with the same salary.

Do you see any potential problem with this arrangement?
