Q.

Does DYFS's issue affect green card application process ?

I have been substantiated from New Jersey DYFS for Child abuse/neglect. I have left my child 4yrs old at home alone for a couple minutes while running to the pharmacy for buying the medication for his fever. I am currently on L1 visa and my plan is applying for H1B then Green card. How those facts affect my Green card application process? Thanks
