Currently, I am in H1B visa and it will expire in 09/22/10. My company ‘A’ had applied for extension but was denied due to some LCA issue. As a result, I have applied(PP)for H1B transfer to company B. Currently, I am an employee of company A and will be working until 09/22/10.I will change my company to B, if my H1b transfer approves. I am planning to go back to school, if I do not receive any update on my H1B transfer until 09/20/10. As per International Student Advisor, I must submit my Change of status within 10 days after expiration date of H1B. I am wondering, what will happen to my H1B transfer petition, if I applied for COS to F1. Will it be automatically cancelled or not? Does that make any impact on my COS filing? Second, can I apply COS within 10 days after H1B expiration?
