Travel on OPT while H! is pending

I currently hold an OPT extension visa valid until 06/ 2011 and also have applied for H1B which is still in pending. I have an emergency travel to my home country. I will be travelling on aug 10 and will be back on September 15th. I have a letter from the employer, letter form the international office to support me. Will I face any difficulty at the port of entry?.. What if the H1 is approved and what if ii is sill pending?
