Hi,

My wife’s H4 visa is expiring on 18th June,2010 and I have applied for extension. Hoping to receive a extension receipt from USCIS in 5 weeks (Is this practical ?), I have booked her ticket to India on July 16th in Lufthansa through Frankfurt. I was told that she could travel through Frankfurt,Germany to India with an extension receipt (not approval notice) having expired visa. I was wondering if a valid approval notice is required for her to travel or will a extensio receipt suffice ? What should i do if the extension receipt does not reach me by July 16th. Please let me know.
