Q.

Regarding the immigration of dependants

Hi Indu

I am a H1B visa holder working for a company at CT. Recently I got a new job in MN. So my H1B transfer process is in progress. I opted for premium transfer and the process started on Feb 25th. Till March 19 I will be working in my old company and March 23 is the first day in the new company. Now I am planning to bring my wife and Kid to US. They have a stamped H4 visa of my old company. One of my relative is travelling to US on March 14th. Can you please advise if I can bring my family on the existing Visa (it expires on 21 July 2010).Also, I am located in CT & if my family is planning to come with my relatives, their port of entry would be SFO. Please let me know if you see any issues at immigration for my wife and kid.
Thanks
Anup
