Im on a H1B status and currently working. My wife is on H4. Our I-485 is pending with I-140 approved and we are in the Visa Regression section. We both had an EAD that expired in October 2008, but we did not use it. We want to get a new EAD because she wants to work and I need to get an extra income.
Questions:
1.- Am I legally allowed to submit this application by myself or are we required to do it through our lawyer? If I can, then;
2.-On form I-765, should we select "Permission to accept employment" or "Renewal of my permission to accept employment? I believe in both cases the supporting documents are the same. Right?
