Want to convert from F1-G4(Non Immigrant Visa)
I did my MS from Jan06 toAug08 and I was in OPT from Oct08-Sep09. Then I again enrolled for a Ph.D program in a univ for spring2010.Now I got a offer from an Employer where they are ready to sponsor a G4 visa for me to start my work at the earliest.
1.Can I switch over from F1-G4?
2.I have a valid I-20 which starts from Jan2010 and ends at May2015, but I have't registered for my courses yet since I am waiting for this G4 visa. Can I proceed with this or should I pay my fees and register for the courses till I get my G4 stamped from Canada? Can I proceed with it, and answer the same to a Visa Consulate officer?
3.Is there any rule I need to keep registered for the classes to be in F1 status since I have my F1 Visa till Dec 2011?
