Lost I-94 and visiting India in December
I just realized that I have lost my I-94 form and I am planning to go to India beginning of next month (December 10th). I do have a photocopy of the I-94 form. If I apply for duplicate now, I don't think I will get it before my planned departure. Can I leave US on photocopy of I-94 (i.e surrender photocopy of I-94)? Will this create any problem when I return from India in a month (Jan 10th)? Is it okay to get my records updated once I receive duplicates?
