I'm planning to Register an IT consulting company in Canada and will Get work(remote/offshore work) from an US company.
1. my wife will be performing the above said work remotely, while she is living in the US on H4 visa, works with out salary(will volunteer) and She would get her experience certificate as a volunteer for that work period. Is it legal in US?
2. my wife will be performing the above said work remotely while living in the US on H4 visa, she will be employed in Canada by my company, but will live in the US and works from home for the US client(will never visit client). her salary will be deposited to her Canadian bank account. Is it legal in US?

can I own a business in Canada/abroad while working on H1b in US? can I do some operational(invoicing clients etc)work for it?
