I stamped H1B in Dec2008 and came USA first time in Apr2011. My spouse received 221G document for H4 in May2011 during interview and by email in July2011. I submitted docs to VFS delhi on Sept12 and then Oct25. Its more than 8 weeks docs submission.

Queries:
1. U suggested on Oct 16, after 8 weeks my employer's attorney should send a communication. I'm not sure though if it was DEPT of state/DEPT of homeland security. Can u confirm whether it should by mail or email? Please suggest mailing or email address for same. Please share the exact process.

2. Let me know if you think anything specific needs to be questioned or added in communication.

3. After how much time should attorney follow-up.

4. What is process to cancel 221g in VFS? Can she reschedule interview at Delhi?
