A little overview about my situation. I am going for MBA to London, UK on Sep 15th. I have completed 5 years of my H1B and will be applying for H4B(my wife is on H1B,she has also filed GC-EB3140 approved but I am not added to it) in Oct at the London US consulate.Do you think there can be any problems based on I would have just left US few weeks back and was on H1B?I plan to visit my wife in December for three weeks and again in April 2012 for 2 weeks on H4B. Overall I plan to stay out of US for 1 year excluding the 2 visits to US. If I come back to US after a year outside (on H4 status assuming its approved) and start working for an employer, will I get 6 years of new H1B? As I would be travelling to US on H4B for my visits would that impact me in getting Fresh 6-years of H1B?
