My Wife is in India, she went for H4 visa interview on the 4/18/2011 to the Chennai consulate in India. They gave her a 221G Green slip asking for more documents relating to my work, then we submitted all the documents asked for in the 221g slip(They did not ask for the passport, its with my wife) to the Chennai consulate on 5/20/2011. This is my situation, my question is
1)How long will it take (maximum time) for them to give a reply on our case(2 months since we submitted the documents)?
2)She has a valid US tourist Visa as of now, so can she come to US in the tourist Visa and stay with me even though she has an pending H4 Visa case with the Chennai consulate in India? If yes, how long can she stay with me here in US on the visitors Visa and will it affect her pending H4 application?
