Q.

H4 Extension is pending and I-94 will expire in 1 month

Hi,

I am on H1B.Last year I changed my employer and I got a extension till May,2013.I have applied my wife's H4 extension on April 25 2011 and Received Receipt number on April 27 2011. My wife current I-94 will expire on Aug-14-2011. By that time My wife's H4 extension will be still in pending. So my question are:
1.Though my wife I-94 will expire by Aug-14-2011, Since we applied for extension Is my wife legal to stay in US.
2.How many days can my wife stay in US while the H4 extension is pending?
3. Do I have to submit any other forms to make sure my GC processing will not affect?

Thank you.
