I got married in June 2010 and came to US on H1 visa in Aug 2010.We applied for H4 Visa for my wife on 25 April 2011 from Hyderabad US consulate,got 221 g Blue Slip (Admin Processing)
Ques at H4 intrw
1)I got visa approved in 2008 but came to US in 2010 due to project delays and she carried the appointment letter of 2008 and salary mentioned was $48000.
2)In W2 forms i had $12,000 for year 2010.They kept my appointment letter ,Original W2 forms and returned back her passport.
On May 6 a officer from Kentucky Consular called my employer in USA and asked for couple of general questions related to the project requirement and duration, to which my employer responded.
My question:For such types of cases how long is the case processing duration going on ?
Is there any thing else i can do?
