legal funds for E-2 visa
My wife (TN) and I (H1B) registered a firm to apply E-2 via USCIS. We have $160,000 saving but $100,000 was just wired to me from China. We can't approve the $100,000 "legal" because when we left China there was no such tax/legal system to document this money, or it’s very complicated and difficult to find all of these bank/investment records.
My Qs are:
1)Can I use my 7 yrs W-2 to show the money “legal”?
2)If not, how can we “use” this money in USA or Canada for a while (says 3 months) then transfer out to have “documentation” to show it is legal? Something I can think of is buying/selling stocks, buying/then home equity loan house.
3)The problem is that the firm has generated some business without ANY employee now. What shall I do to avoid any problem with USCIS in future?
