We are here since 2003 with E2, never been illegal
Applied for renewal 3 months a go.
Got appointment at US embassy in Paris, France, on February 9 2011.
Renewal has been refused without any reason.
Officer at US embassy told me he give us a B1B2 to " wind down involment in E2 corp" and told us B1B2 will be valid for 10 Y, 6months/per year stay without work.
We got our Pasport back with a b1b2 which expire on May 8 2011 (2month).
Officer at entry gave us a I94 till May 8 2011 and handwritted in the back of the form " No extension of stay, No change of status"
My lawyer wanted to apply for a change of status by Service Center Vermont but he never saw such note in the back of a I94.
Can this be the good option?, if not what are our options?
