H4 Stamping for my wife

Few days back my wife went for H4 stamping in New delhi and she got 221g asking for my H1 documents and the client letter. Between my client and my H1B employer, there are 2 layers. Now, i got job offer from the client and the client will file my H1b in next 1 week.

My question is: Should I wait for my H1B approval from the client and submit those documents including job offer and then include a cover letter that tells that my job situation has changed and now i am directly working for the client(without any layers)? or shall I submit the documents from my current employer? I am inclined towards first option, but at the same time I am concerned that USCIS may say that while applying for H4 visa you had one employer and while submitting documents you have another.

Please suggest.
