Q.

H1 to H4

I am presently on 6th year H1B Visa, This visa expires in December (2010). I wish to change to Dependent H-4 visa. My wife is also on H1B visa, we both are in USA presently.
1. How do I go about this process of transfer to H-4?
2. Do I need to go for stamping?
3. Do I need to go back to India for stamping? Is Canada or Mexico Better or UK?
4. When do I apply?
5. Can I apply for H-4 visa while in USA or should in need to do it in India?
6. Can I immediately change to H-4 and save 4-months of my H1-B for future use?
7. What are your charges for H1-B to H4 transfer process?
8. If I change to F1 category do I need go to stamping again?
Thanks
