Q.

Adjustment of status

My husband and I have E2 visas but we are asked us to change and get a A2 as I'm working for a French consulate in the US. For me it is not a problem but for him it is a huge one because he can't stop working for 4 months while waiting for his EAD.
So it is possible for him to get an Adjustment of Status from his E2 visa to a A2 and keep working while his application for a EAD is pending ?
Or is there any other solution with which he could keep his job and work while waiting for an EAD ?
