Q.

Status in the US

I am a US green card holder since 2006. I plan to eventually file for my citizenship. I know that the naturalization process says you can't be out of the US for > 6 months in the past x years. I just went to Canada on business for 3 days - when I came back to the US over the border the officer processed me as usual and waived me through. However, he said his computer crashed, but it was ok - I am now a little nervous that someone is going to say I did not return to the US and the system will say I am still in Canada...cal me paranoid but I want to make sure everything is ok. Is there a way to get CBP or the INS to confirm they show me as currently being in the US, i.e. I cleared their border?
