Q.

Should I include California 5150 Psychological hold on N-400 app

In May 2005, while my employment based green card application was still pending, there was an incident. I was feeling down and told an online friend about ending my life. He called 911. The police came to my apartment. I told them I had taken some prescription pills to sleep. They took me to the hospital. After some tests and few hours in the emergency room, the doctors released me to the psych evaluation dept. They interviewed me there and let me go later that evening realizing I wasn't serious. Apparently then cops had put on Calif. Psych hold 5150. Subsequently my green card was approved in Oct. 2006. Now on my naturalization appl (N-400) I am wondering how to answer the question: "Were you ever detained by law enforcement?". Is 5150 psych hold considered 'detention' in this context?
