Q.

Concerning if I can reapply for US citizenship

I had not attended US citizenship interview in Baltimore which was recent scheduled.Now I know that USCIS will administratevely close my application and I have a time frame of 1 yr to reapply ..Well I don't wish to apply again for sometime.My question is should I send USCIS any letter stating to close my case and also if I plan to apply after 1 yr will they accept/deny my application?Please explain process in either case(if I apply before 1 yr and if apply after 1 yr)
