Q.

Quitting job after Green Card!

My Priority Dt is March 1 2007(EB2). Due to some personal family setbacks I resigned from my current job in my company effective Sept 1, 2011. I will be moving back to India for 2-3 years. Now with the priority dates moving quickly I am little optimistic that my PD might become current before the Oct 2011. My question is
1) Assuming my PD gets current in August 2011 and I get my GC in August. Knowing that I have already resigned from my company can my employer revoke it?
2) Assuming my PD gets current in Sept, but since I my resignation is effective Sept 1? Would it still be possible to get my GC?
3) Once I get my GC can I immediately apply for reentry permit for 2 years or do I have to stay in US for certain amt of time before applying. Please advise.
