Hello,

I will be completing 5 years on my green card by Dec'09. I worked for about 4 years after receiving my GC and my husband was the primary applicant for my GC application. I will be out of work soon. We may apply for citizenship next year and have below concerns.
- Can I claim for unemployment benefits ?
- Would there be any adverse effect with my citizenship application because of the above?
- Would there be any issue at the time of renewing my green card in case we want to wait on citizenship for some time?
- What would they look for when we apply for citizenship ?
