Q.

B1/B2 to L1

I am currently in the United States on a B1/B2 visitor visa, and I have secured an offer from a company that is willing to do an L1 visa for me. I am an Indonesian citizen, and I had worked with this same company in the US (during my 1 year OPT period after university) and then continued with them to Canada (for the past 1 yr and a half under a work permit). My work in Canada ended on July 31st, and I was only able to secure this new job after the interview process this past week.

Does it present a problem that I am currently in United States, and not in Canada where I had my experience with them ?

Can I switch my status from B1/B2 to L1 without leaving the States ?

They want me to come aboard their team within the next month, is this timeline possible ?
