Q.

L1A Visa and Job Termination

Hi,
I am a Canadian on an L1A visa. My employment will be terminated in the near future. How long do I have to settle my affairs and leave the country? Can I leave and then return as a visitor to pack my belongings, etc.? Do I need to change my status with Immigration?
